What is LARP?

Live Action Role Playing. A game in which individuals play the role of characters of their own creation. Boffer LARP, or Live Action Role-Playing with boffer weapons, is a type of LARP where players use safe, padded weapons (boffers) to simulate combat in a fantasy or historical setting. Think of it as playing make-believe with foam swords and costumes, but with some light, controlled fighting. It allows for more physical action and immersion compared to other LARPs.

What LARP is not
